Jurassic Plotz

I know it's bad form to nitpick a film before it even comes out, but eh, what the heck.

After seeing the trailer for the new Jurassic World movie, I'm cautiously optimistic that it might turn out OK. Something in that trailer was bugging me though. I couldn't quite put my finger on what it was, until now.

Back in the first film, Mr. DNA helpfully explains to us how the Jurassic Park scientists recreated extinct dinosaurs.

Millions of years ago prehistoric mosquitoes routinely sucked the blood of various dinosaurs. Some of these mosquitoes then became encased in amber, where they were perfectly preserved until the present day.

Scientists then found these fossilized mosquitoes and were able to extract the dino blood from them. They then used this blood to clone real live dinosaurs. Unlikely, but so far so good.

My question is: How the hell'd a mosquito manage to bite one of these?
