Just something I've noticed about my home now that winter's here.
When I was a kid, every winter my dad was always telling us that 65 degrees was more than warm enough inside. He kept the thermostat under constant surveillance and wouldn't let anyone else touch it. I hate to admit it, but now that I'm paying for my own heat, I finally understand him.
I'll be OK as long as we don't have any more ice storms like we had here last year. It knocked my power out for FIVE days. That's five days with no heat, in February, when the high temperature outside was 17 degrees and the temperature inside my house hovered around 50. That was not a good time.
Drawn in Photoshop on the graphic tablet.
Enjoyed your post and your drawings.
ReplyDeleteThis next week down here in the South, 50 degrees will feel like 80 once the deep freeze takes hold. What flavor Graphics Tablet do you use ?
ReplyDeleteThanks, Happy Whisk!
ReplyDeleteLysdexicuss: My tablet is just a cheap one from DigiPro. It gets terrible reviews on Amazon, but I've never had any problems with it, and it was the best $50 I ever spent.
That is so funny & so true! Why is that?
ReplyDeleteBelle Dee: Just one of those things!
ReplyDeleteso true! damn, i know exactly what you mean too. i like to keep it down around 65 but my wife insists on 70! I tell her if you want 70, your going to have to go to mexico.
ReplyDeleteThis reminds me of an interesting bit of information I picked up a while ago. Apparently, any temperature below 68 degrees fahrenheit is too cold for fennec foxes. It's almost completely irrelevant, but that's what I thought of when I saw this.
