Pleasant Shopping!

According to a recent study by the University of Arizona, 72% of all shopping cart handles contain traces of fecal matter.

I'm honestly surprised the percentage is that low.

    Yeah, I know.

    Think about it-- Moms put their snotty-nosed toddlers in the little seat there, and then the kid sits there and grabs onto the handle with his petri dish-like hands. Then you come along later and grasp the same handle and then handle your fresh produce. Nasty.

    They also sell portable plastic guards that you can carry with you and slide over the handle.

    I worked at a grocery store all through college, and I can tell you from experience that they're the dirtiest, filthiest places there are.
