This week 20th Century Fox announced they're planning a sequel (not a reboot!) to the 1980 workplace comedy 9 To 5, which will star the original cast (!).
Jesus wept!
If you can believe their publicists, Dabney Coleman is currently 86, Jane Fonda's 80, Lily Tomlin is 78 and Dolly Parton's the kid of the group at a youthful 72. How the hell could any of their characters still be working in an office?
The only way this film can possibly work is if it's a humorous look at how the modern American worker can't afford to retire.
