What Garbage!

A few weeks ago I reviewed The Orville episode Blood Of Patriots, which guest-starred actor MacKenzie Astin.

Astin's is a former child star, who's still out there working today. He's probably best known for a stint on The Facts Of Life back in the 1980s.

Recently I came across a credit of his that he'd probably prefer to forget! Back in 1987 Astin starred alongside Anthony Newley as Dodger in The Garbage Pail Kids Movie! A movie so awful it pretty much torpedoed the career of its director, Rod Amateau. In fact he never directed another film after this one! Yikes!

Fortunately Astin was able to continue working and sweep the film under the rug. Until now...
