The Most 1970s Post Ever!

Welcome to the most 1970s post ever!

A whopping FORTY TWO years ago today I went to the local cineplex (which contained a grand total of two screens) and saw Star Wars for the fourth time since it premiered. And I do mean Star Wars—  there was none of this "A New Hope" business the summer it came out.

When I came out of the theater I got in the car and cranked up the radio. The local station was all abuzz, reporting that Elvis Presley had just died!

Told you it was the most 1970s post ever!
