This week director Quentin Tarantino announced that he's having second thoughts about directing a Star Trek film. In an interview with Consequence Of Sound, whatever that is, Tarantino said, "I think I’m steering away from Star Trek, but I haven’t had an official conversation with those guys yet.”
I like to think I speak for all Trek fans when I respond with a hearty, "WHEW!" We definitely dodged a hale of bullets here, guys!
Star Trek's already in bad enough shape as it is these days. We don't need the director of Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction turning it into an R-rated kill-fest. How about letting someone who actually understands the property have a go at it for a change?
