Bring Me The Head Of Puxatony Phil

This was the temperature in my city at 8am yesterday morning, March 21. You know, March 21, otherwise known as the second day of Spring.

This is the temperature today at 8am on March 22, the third day of Spring. Note the forecast for Sunday and Tuesday. Those are snowflakes. Motherfrakin' snowflakes.

I'm going to kill that goddamned groundhog...

Things I've Noticed: Outdoor Vs. Indoor Temperature

Just something I've noticed about my home now that winter's here.

When I was a kid, every winter my dad was always telling us that 65 degrees was more than warm enough inside. He kept the thermostat under constant surveillance and wouldn't let anyone else touch it. I hate to admit it, but now that I'm paying for my own heat, I finally understand him.

I'll be OK as long as we don't have any more ice storms like we had here last year. It knocked my power out for FIVE days. That's five days with no heat, in February, when the high temperature outside was 17 degrees and the temperature inside my house hovered around 50. That was not a good time.
