For the past few months the internet has been abuzz over the new J.J. Abrams Star Trek movie. Fans the world over are furiously speculating as to the identity of the movie's terrifying and powerful new villain, played menacingly by Benedict Cumberbatch.
Abrams has been frustratingly coy though as to the actual identity of the character (no doubt generating tons of publicity for the film). Who could he be? Most fans believe it's Khan, the role made famous by actor Ricardo Montalban. Others believe its Gary Mitchell, a crewman from the second TV pilot who gained the powers of a god. Some are convinced it's an entirely new character.
I say nuts to all those theories! I've finally figured out the identity of the mystery villain. Forget Khan! Wipe Mitchell out of your mind. Benedict Cumberbatch is playing none other than:
Adam, the hot-pantsed, hip-booted space hippy from the 1969 episode The Way To Eden!
Just look at him. How could he not be the new villain? He's a dead ringer for Cumberbatch! All you doubters, just you wait and see come this May! When Cumberbatch struts onto the screen in his leather hip boots, you'll be apologizing all over yourselves.
Bwahahahahahaha! Great little post!
