• Dateline: Central Russia. A meteor explodes over the Ural Mountain region in the early morning hours, the shockwave blowing out windows, damaging buildings and injuring over 1,200 people.
• Dateline: Planet Earth. Asteroid 2013 DA14 comes within a scant 17,000 miles of Earth; lower than even our communication satellites.
• Dateline: Northern California. A large meteor streaked through the skies of the northern portion of the state during the early evening.
Three separate attacks in one day.
Clearly this planet needs stricter meteor control laws...
