Just like in the comics, the various Arrowverse characters routinely team up with one another for an annual crossover event. Because these stories stretch across multiple episodes of various series, it can be tough to find my reviews of them, or figure out the order in which to read them. So here's a handy guide to all the crossovers so far.

FLASH VS. ARROW

Unlike later, more elaborate crossovers, this one was a relatively simple affair, featuring Barry Allen teaming up with his pal Oliver Queen for an adventure that took place entirely in a single episode of The Flash.

HEROES JOIN FORCES

This was the first true crossover, as the casts of both series appeared on one another's shows. Unfortunately I only reviewed The Flash half of the team up. Sorry, Arrow fans.

INVASION!

This was the first major crossover event, as it took place in ALL the Arrowverse series airing at the time. Note that I didn't bother reviewing the Supergirl chapter here. That's because it was just a plain old regular episode, and the "crossover" didn't occur until literally the final thirty seconds! You could safely skip it altogether and not miss a thing.

Also, for reasons known only to the producers, every episode of this crossover is titled "Invasion!," with no chapter numbers. This makes it tough to figure out the order in which to watch them. Confusing!

CRISIS ON EARTH-X

This is my personal favorite of the crossovers, as it not only featured Barry & Iris' event-filled wedding, but a movie-quality battle between the assembled heroes and interdimentional Nazis. What more could you ask for?

ELSEWORLDS

This crossover featured the first appearance of The Monitor, who'd later become the catalyst in Crisis On Infinite Earths, as well as an appearance by the 1990s Flash. It was a fun concept, but ultimately didn't live up to its potential.

CRISIS ON INFINITE EARTHS

Crisis was the Arrowverse's answer to the MCU's Infinity War/Endgame. It involved virtually every character from all the shows as they battled the evil Anti-Monitor to try and save the Multiverse and all reality. It had its moments, but its ambition far outweighed its execution.

ARMAGEDDON

Armageddon was an attempt at doing a crossover in a Post-Covid world. It took place entirely within The Flash rather than across several series, and featured just a handful of guest stars. Curiously, nearly all of them were from defunct, recently canceled shows. Strange.

If you're still invested in the show, then more power to you, but I bowed out sometime before the end of the season.
