Saw a big stack of plastic Adirondack chairs for sale at my local Schnuck's grocery this morning.
Pay close attention to this prominent sticker plastered on the backs of each one. Note that they don't mention anything about the sleek styling, the realistic molded texture or the fine quality.
Nope, instead they proudly point out— above all else— that these chairs have a 350 LOAD LIMIT, so even the heftiest consumer can lower their bulk into them without fear of structural collapse!
Jesus wept. This is what America's come to, and the world we've created for ourselves.
