Out Of Context Mary Tyler Moore Show Moment

So I'm watching the Mary Tyler Moore show today and this happened:

Mary's parents dropped in for a visit. That's her dad next to her on the couch. Take a good look at him there...

He's a dead ringer for that Walter puppet in Jeff Dunham's inexplicably popular ventriloquism act!

Look at 'em! They're practically twins! It's like they sawed off the actor's head, let it sit in the sun to shrink a bit, and then screwed in on the neck of that puppet! Can a person copyright their face? If so, the family of the guy who played Mare's dad needs to file a lawsuit, pronto!
