Spock Cartoon Title Cards
I've always liked the title cards at the beginning of old Warner Bros. and Hanna-Barbera cartoons. Some of them were true works of art. I'm also a big Star Trek geek. So here's my take on a title card if Star Trek had been a Hanna-Barbera type of cartoon.
Spock was drawn and colored in my ancient copy of Freehand, then imported into Photoshop. The background & text were added in Photoshop.
This was done shortly before I finally got a graphic tablet, so it was all drawn with the mouse. Don't ask me how. I know I sound like some sort of graphic tablet evangelist, but I really don't know how I got along without it.
By the way, the credits in the two title cards are accurate. Those really were the directors and writers of those episodes. I told you I was a Star Trek geek.
Just for the heck of it, here's the title card art without the text obscuring it.
